Flamlet

Flamlet (2020), an animated short film produced by me and my colleagues from Level I, during the 8th edition of the course at the Estúdio Escola de Animação. Not only is it iconic, it's award-winning! It's the winner of the 19th Children's Film Festival, by the official jury - made up of students from Rio de Janeiro's public elementary school system!

The story takes place through the eyes of Flamlet, a little firecracker who dreams of playing the lead in a shadow play. However, all his impulsiveness ends up setting the show ablaze, so Toquinho, a protective and rational candle, does what he can to prevent this destruction!
